This cultural element—unique to North Africa—is rather like a hybrid of a soft sauna and a Turkish bath: basically, one starts out covered in a bathrobe or towel and makes gentle progress from a mildly warm room, through a warm room, and on to a hot room.

The administrations of the people who guide you through this very special ritual make the sensation extremely agreeable.

Many have plunge pools: men and women are usually separated, but couples can opt for a session together with two masseuses adding to their pleasure.

In a hammam or in a spa, you can luxuriate in the subtle pleasures of beauty treatments based on secret Moroccan traditions and natural plants, further refined with modern techniques. We usually offer our clients one complimentary hammam session but advise that they advance book a series of treatments—for the first few days since the best masseurs and masseuses are in high demand.
