Cutting-Edge Amenities and Housekeeping Services

Our standard service includes return airport-villa transfer for you and your group in an air-conditioned limousine, Range Rover, or luxurious RV in Saint Tropez, on the Côte d'Azur, and in Morocco; in Corsica and Provence, we ensure you are met at the airport by one of our own staff with an extra car or locally by a housekeeper.

All of our properties are luxurious and have the cutting-edge amenities our clients have come to consider standard, including those listed below.

  • Large or extra large swimming pool: usually heated
  • Private tennis court in many cases
  • Modern or gourmet kitchen, usually with espresso machine
  • Good quality dinnerware, wine glasses, and cutlery
  • Air-conditioning in many cases
  • State-of-the-art or modern ensuite bathrooms
  • Satellite TV; DVD; CD player; Home cinema in certain villas
  • ADSL or WiFi internet access—extra fee for full home office

We always check and double check that the villa is prepared before your scheduled arrival time, and our standard approach is:

Fruit and flower arrangements in the main reception room as well as the master bedroom; two bottles of Bollinger speciale cuvée or another like champagne on ice; for Italian villas, prosecco and white peach juice nicely chilled for the bellinis; in Morocco, fruit and mint tea and—by arrangement—chilled wines; mineral water;

All the beds properly made up with Frette or Egyptian cotton sheets or the equivalent 300 thread-count bed linen: covers turned down; wooden coat hangers and sets of matching plastic hangers in all the closets;

Occitane-en-Provence, Bulgari, Molton Brown or another line of finest soap and toiletries as well as tissues, hairdryers, an abundance of fluffy white towels and comforting spa bathrobes in all the bathrooms; luxury pool towels on hand near the swimming pool;

International magazines in the living room;

Fine teas and coffees offered; the fridge pre-stocked, based on your specific instructions;

By special arrangement, fine wines of your choice; for one month visits, a 12-bottle starter cellar tailored to your particular taste;

Upon your arrival at the villa, our concierge people introduce key staff as well as ensuring that you have help unpacking the bags and hanging clothes in the closets. And generally getting nicely acclimatized.

During your stay, the staff will have the breakfast table prepared in a style that you prefer: for villas in the South of France, experience has shown that clients usually choose a relatively simple continental breakfast with quality teas or coffee—other arrangements can easily be made given advance notice; for villas in Italy, a classic uncooked Italian breakfast is included in the rent; in our Morocco villas, the rather copious traditional cooked breakfast with pancakes is usually included.

Same-day, English-language newspapers are invariably available in Europe.

Also included in the rent: daily housekeeping or—for Provence and Corsica—four to six times a week to keep everything in good running order; regular changes of household linen; maintenance of the swimming pool and grounds; most utilities that are consumed—see special note about France; and the final cleaning of the villa.

Personal laundry can be sent out to the cleaners upon request.

The chef or cook—full-time and included in the rent on the Côte d'Azur and on the Saint Tropez peninsula or, in Provence, on a per-hour basis—will always be on hand to create French, Asiatic or Medi-Moroccan fusion meals. Or, if you prefer, lighter and more diet-conscious cuisine, such as Provençal salads and seafood designed to suit your own particular regime.

All these features combine to create a level of service and privacy that just cannot be matched—even by the finest hotel.

Truly the Best of Both the Villa and Hotel Experiences.
