The Greatest Experiences in Life

Many would argue that the greatest experiences in life are falling in love, marrying, and possibly having children.

Whilst we would not disagree and, although some of the destinations we offer are certainly conducive to love, these great experiences do not fall directly into our remit.

In any event, most single or married people—sooner or later—seek some form of "life experience" over and above the norm experienced by metropolitan humanity.

In our opinion, modern luxury—now expected by just about everyone—combined with the sterility and fast pace of modern life leaves most of us with an indescribable yearning for "something" more real and exciting: this is especially true for people who have "done it all" and got "the tee-shirt" to prove it!

We believe that two of the greatest life experiences on this planet—the only one we have—are to be found in Africa—widely believed to be the birthplace of all our ancestors—and the Arctic where the minimalist way of life is perhaps the supreme challenge to a human being.

We offer several luxury versions of the "African experience", luxury safaris and hot-air ballooning in Morocco and, on a bespoke basis, a camping and survival week with the Inuit of Northern Québec.

In addition, during 2009, we will be offering rather more refined life experiences including space flight and, for a group of only eight couples, a four-day, vertical tasting of top Burgundies in a hi-luxury château on the Saint Tropez peninsula.
